Google Maps Isn't Always Right
Although Google Maps is correct most of the time, there are some instinces where they just don't get it. Give this a try:
1. Go to www.maps.google.com
2. Click on "get directions"
3. Type "New York" in the first box (the "from" box)
4. Type "London" in the second box (the "to" box)
5. Hit "get directions"
6. Scroll down to step #23
I don't know about you, but that's a long way to swim!

Google Maps is wrong some of the time, for sure.
I geocoded 6600 local area businesses using a system that should have matched up perfectly with Google Maps. Most do. But some are off by a mile or more. They check out on Yahoo, but not Google. So they have some work to do.
