Tired of Pecking While You Type SMS?
I was never a huge fan of pecking on the QWERTY keypad for a cell phone to send an SMS message to someone. Now there's a new (and faster) way to do it - but only on touch screen devices. One of the inventors of the T9 system has come up with a way to drag your pointer (or finger) to the word you want to come up. The system guesses (quite well I must add) at the word and adds it in. Of course, I'm still a bigger fan of voice-recognition. But, if you've got a heavy accent, this is one of the best touch-screen ways to SMS someone. I think all the Twitter fans out there are rejoycing to this one...
