Fixed - Google Desktop Not Indexing Files and Outlook 2003 Emails
I've had some major issues with Google Desktop not indexing my files & Outlook 2003 emails in Windows Vista. I just found a fix that might be able to help you all out.
Go to http://eyemagination.us/2008/11/google-desktop-solution-for-windows.htm. It details these three main steps:
1. Install an Old Version of Google Desktop.
2. Uninstall the Old Version. Restart Your Computer.
3. Install the latest version of Google Desktop.
The key to all of this is keeping your old index. Then let the new version capture all the new files & emails. I hope this helps.
